Jim Coleman takes the 2026 Earlybird @ Wequaquet!
              
Jim Coleman a LONGTIME ABA member secured the top spot at the ABA – D5 American Fishing Tour (AFT) event with a NICE BAG of 13.40 with 5 Largemouth. Jim caught them by chasing baitfish and dropshooting with his HOMEMADE setup on drops off just off the flats approximately in 10-14 feet of water. Jim was also the BIG BASS winner with a 3.79 Largemouth earning him some CASH and a couple of nice ABA-D5 plaques!
                              
Second place went to Daniel Gonsalves weighing a 5 fish limit of 11.25 pounds found in 10-16 feet of water in and around grass lines out in the main lake, primarily using a jig and small swimbaits. Daniel is always in the conversation as a very solid ABA angler who can catch them .

In a field of very good anglers, Corey Gillis took the top honors at the ABA 2-Day event held on Lake Champlain with a combined two-day weight of 37.55 lbs and the largemouth big bass of the event, a 6 lber. He is officially the Division Angler of the Year!
   
2nd place went to an visiting Tennesee angler
Brian Elder with a two-day combiled weight of 37 lbs. 
Gordon Bocash rounded out the top 3 with a two-day combined
weight of 36.84 lbs and lunker smallmouth on both days.
