Joe Raposa wins on South Watuppa

May 16, 2026 Joe Raposo secured first place with a five-fish limit weighing 12.20 pounds. For his performance, he earned $478.00 and the first-place plaque. A very solid performance from a great guy and well-respected local angler. Joe has definitely put in the time on this body of water.We would like to also recognize Sheron K. Brown with a very nice 2nd place finish and a 3 fish bag of 11.30 anchored by a 5.13 lbs BIG BASS! Going home with 2 pieces of hardware for 2nd place and big bass earning him a total of $608.00 The top rankings and payouts are as follows: - First Place: Joe Raposo – 12.20 lbs ($478.00) - Second Place: Sheron K. Brown – 11.30 lbs ($268.00) - Third Place: Daniel Gonsalves – 7.14 lbs ($86.00) - Big Bass: Sheron K. Brown – 5.13 lbs ($340.00) Conditions were particularly challenging, with only five of the 17 participating anglers bringing fish to the scale. We would like to recognize all participants for their efforts during this difficult event. We missed a few of our regulars due to mechanical issues which would have brought the field to over 20 anglers. The next AFT Division 5 tournament is scheduled for June 20th, 2026, on Lake Shirley in Lunenburg, Massachusetts.
